Police arrested a man who they say showed a long pattern of violently assaulting women.
Jarion Hopson, 34, was arrested Friday afternoon and booked into Tulsa County jail on a number of complaints, including kidnapping, domestic assault and battery and threatening a violent act.
Police say Hopson only moved to Tulsa seven years ago, but has been investigated six times since then for domestic violence.
Records show Hopson was sentenced in 2011 to 18 months in prison for attacking a woman he was dating.
He served six months and was released last April, then was arrested for domestic assault again in October. While he was out on bond after that arrest, a woman said he beat her so badly he broke her arm and caused her to go into hiding in another town, out of fear of him.
Hopson's bond was set at $739,000.
