Santa Claus got an early start on Christmas today.

He made the rounds at a Tulsa elementary school with the help of a Jenks business.

It was an early Christmas for more than 400 students and their teachers at Hawthorne Elementary School.

The Christmas party was off to a rocking start as students, teachers and staff began celebrating Christmas early.

The pre-k through 6th graders enjoyed song and dance. Then the big guy in the red suit stepped on stage.

He came bearing gifts, courtesy of the employees at Kimberly-Clark in Jenks.

The paper products company worked with the United Way to identify the school as most in need this holiday season.

They brought 420 new toys, enough for each and every student.

It wasn't all just for the kids, each faculty member and support staff at the school received two cases of Kimberly-Clark products.

"It warms my heart to know that people still care about students," principal Estella Bitson said. "Not only do the teachers and their families care, but our community cares about our students and that they have a wonderful holiday season,"

This is the eighth year Kimberly-Clark employees worked as Santa's helpers for the holidays.

In that time, they've raised more than $45,000 and donated more than 4,000 toys.
