The Broken Arrow community will get a chance to support local business and get a sneak peek at the Pride of Broken Arrow Marching Band's 2013 Rose Parade routine.
The Broken Arrow High School marching band won the 2011 Grand National Marching Band championship, which earned them a slot in the annual Rose Parade, in Pasadena, California.
The band is scheduled to leave for the big day on December 27, but before they go, the Broken Arrow community is making a push to help them raise the funds they need for the trip.
Monday afternoon, Main Street will be closed to traffic, so the band can practice their routine. They'll be there from 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m., and the whole community is invited to watch the practice.
Some businesses in the Rose District will also be chipping in, donating a portion of their sales to the band or providing free services for donations during the parade.
