A woman wasn't seriously hurt when she drove her car off Riverside Drive into the Arkansas River.
The incident occurred at about 7:15 a.m. Thursday in the 3100 block of South Riverside Drive.
The woman made it out of the car and was standing on the river bank when emergency crews got to the scene.
The driver told officers she was driving south on Riverside Drive when she attempted to pass another vehicle and her car made contact with it. The impact caused her car to roll over and it came to rest sitting upright in the river.
"The white vehicle was then forced off the road and rolled one time and ended up right side up in the river at this time," said Tulsa Police Corporal Jared Hart.
EMSA paramedics treated the driver for minor injuries.
The crash scene is near the pedestrian bridge over the Arkansas River.
A wrecker eventually came out to pull the car out of the river.
