You provide the love, they'll provide the pet. The Tulsa SPCA is looking for foster families to take adoptable pets home for a holiday stay.

Tulsa SPCA: Foster A Lonely Pet For The Holidays

Thought about helping homeless pets but weren't sure you could make the long-term commitment? Participate in "Foster a Lonely Pet for the Holidays" with the Tulsa SPCA and Petfinder.com.

The rescue organizations are trying to empty their kennels for Christmas, encouraging members of the public to invite a pet home for the holidays.

Foster a Lonely Pet for the Holidays

The SPCA will prove starter packets with supplies. Tulsa's SPCA has an average population of 80 adoptable dogs and 30 adoptable cats that can be viewed online at tulsaspca.org.

The goal for "Foster a Lonely Pet for the Holidays" is to have pets placed by noon on December 14.
