The Tulsa women's basketball team earned its third-straight victory as the Hurricane tallied a 58-43 win over Colorado State on Saturday afternoon at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. TU moved to 3-5 on the season, while CSU fell to 2-6 overall.
"I am really pleased with how our kids played, fought and competed," Head Coach Matilda Mossman said. "We got another win. We have to get to a place where we expect to win all the time, and if we continue to compete and play hard, good things are going to happen for us."
Kelsee Grovey had a team-best 16 points, while Taleya Mayberry added 11 points and a team-leading seven assists. Tiffani Couisnard pulled down 12 rebounds, and Couisnard, Ashley Clark and Grovey each had two steals.
Tulsa will return to action against BYU Saturday, Dec. 15 in Provo, Utah.
