A Sand Springs man was arrested Sunday morning with hundreds of images and videos involving child pornography, according to the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.
James Marvin Bowen, 68, had several hundred photos of children engaged in sexual activity - the largest number local investigators have ever seen, according to Sergeant Eric Kitch with TCSO.
The images and videos were discovered by a technician after Bowen brought his computer in to be repaired, Kitch said. Bowen has been charged with a felony complaint of aggravated possession of child pornography.
He was released on a $20,000 bond.
Kitch said the National Center For Missing And Exploited Children was contacted, and the agency did not identify any local children in the photos.
Bowen will appear in court December 10, 2012.
