Phil Stone, Half Of Famous Former KMOD Morning Duo Dies

Half of one of Oklahoma's most popular radio duos has passed away.

KMOD announced Wednesday night Phil Stone, of Tulsa's legendary Phil and Brent show, passed away.

Together with Brent Douglas, Phil helped create the memorable prank caller, "Roy D. Mercer."

Phil and Brent signed off last month after nearly 30 years on the air.
