Tulsa Police: Man Changes Story About Being Shot

Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting incident in North Tulsa early Tuesday morning.

Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting incident in North Tulsa early Tuesday.

Police got a call about a shooting victim in the 1900 block of West Easton.

The victim, 33-year-old Lucky Calvert first told officers he had been shot in the shoulder while being robbed by three men on North Edison.  

EMSA took him to the hospital.

At the hospital, Tulsa Police say the victim changed his story and said he had accidentally shot himself at a home on West Easton. 

He was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of possession of a sawed off shotgun, possession of stolen property and possession of a firearm after conviction of a felony.

A woman in the home, Stephanie Gutierrez, 25, was arrested on similar complaints and a complaint of interfering with a police officer.  She too was booked into the Tulsa County jail.

Police are continuing to investigate.
