Driver Knocks Out Power In Tulsa Neighborhood

The intersection of Riverside Drive and 71st Street was closed after a car struck two power poles late Monday night.

Tulsa Police say the driver of the car lost control and hit the two poles near the McDonald's restaurant at about 11 p.m. The impact knocked over the poles, shutting off power to a number of businesses in the area.

Police had to shut down traffic on both streets while PSO crews worked to restore service.
