Alleged Tulsa Good Friday Shooter Accused Of Assaulting Guard

A Tulsa man charged with the Good Friday murders this April now has another complaint added to the list.

Jacob Carl England, 20, assaulted a detention officer late Thursday night, according to a report by the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.

England is being held at the Tulsa County Jail without bond on for first degree murder and hate crimes in a north Tulsa shooting spree over Good Friday weekend. Bobby Clark, 54; William Allen, 31, and Donna Fields, 49, were shot and killed in what prosecutors say were racially-motivated murders. Two other men survived with gunshot wounds.

According to an arrest report filed November 1, England had been in the recreation yard at the David L. Moss Correctional Center. An unidentified detention officer escorted England back to his cell at about 10:30 p.m.

The jailer said he was gripping the prisoner's left arm as they walked to the cell. As the guard started to open the cell door, "England pulled away from me and in a violent manner inmate England hit me with his elbow."

England reportedly told the guard not to touch him, using profanity. After England was shut in the cell, he refused to return the guard's handcuffs, again cursing "**** you, you ain't getting your **** back."

When the guard told the prisoner he would write him up for assault, England shouted, "**** that, I didn't touch you ************, I'm just going to ******* argue that **** and ain't **** going to happen."

The arresting officer said the detention guard's right side was swollen, red and sore to the touch.
