Opening statements are underway in the trial of two former Bartlesville Police officers.

Sonya Worthington and Stacy Neafus have pleaded not guilty to assault and battery charges in connection with a September 2011 arrest.

Video from a hospital surveillance camera shows Worthington slapping a handcuffed man, then putting him in a headlock.

Later, the man appears to bang his head on a table when Neafus pushes him over a metal chair.

The former officers say the man was combative and was yelling at them, but the surveillance video has no audio.
