Oklahoma City police have arrested two men who are accused of shining a laser pointer at a police helicopter.

The suspects, 23-year-old Jordan Pratt, and 21-year-old Dylan Crawford, were arrested on complaints of violating the laser safety act.

According to police, just after midnight Tuesday, officers responded to reports of someone shining a laser pointer at a police helicopter in the area of N.W. 10th Street and Robinson.

As officers arrived, they located a car that matched the description of the vehicle the suspects were in. The car was heading east on Sheridan at a high rate of speed at that time.

Officers were able to pull over the vehicle, and they arrested two men inside, later identified as Pratt and Crawford.

Both Pratt and Crawford were transported to the Oklahoma County Jail.
