A Tulsa man is in jail on a $170,000 bond after firing several shots outside a North Tulsa club.
Officers say someone fired shots in the 727 Club parking lot, near Sheridan and King Street, around 2 a.m.
Officers initially were responding to a call that someone was down at the club, but they found that no one was hurt.
Using witnesses' descriptions, officers found Richard Parker, 29, down the street with a loaded gun.
"A check of the gun determined that the gun had been reported stolen out of Tulsa, and there was only about one or two bullets left in the gun," said Tulsa Police Sergeant Steve Stoltz.
Parker was booked on multiple counts, including possession of a stolen weapon and shooting with intent to kill, and possession of a firearm under Department of Corrections supervision.
According to DOC records, Parker was previously convicted for felony burglary in Tulsa and Kay Counties, and has been incarcerated in the past and is currently on probation.
