Quik Trip Opens New Store At Peoria And I-44

Tulsa gained a new place to fill up on Thursday, as Quik Trip opened a new store at Peoria Avenue and Interstate 44.

It sits where the old Camelot Hotel used to be.

This one is sentimental to QT, because it's right across the street from where they opened their first store 54 years ago.

And this new store offers something extra for drivers that no other Quik Trip in Oklahoma has.

"We now have five grades of motor fuel—you know, the three grades with ethanol, we have auto-diesel, and now for the first time ever, we have conventional gasoline without ethanol," said Mike Thornbrugh, of QT.

The bigger lot allows them the ability to offer all those grades.

QT said the store will also offer customers more variety and options of fresh food.

As this one opened, QT closed its store at Peoria and 45th Street.
