ORU Soccer Trio Receive Conference Awards

Three Golden Eagle women's soccer players were named players of the week by the Southland Conference. Those players were Jennifer Abernathy, Lauren Parks and Helen Erb.

Goalkeeper Erb was named the conference top player for the fifth time in 2012, Parks added the defensive award for the second time and Abernathy was the offensive award winner.

The Golden Eagles (8-4-2, 2-1-0) head to Louisiana this weekend to take on McNeese State on Friday evening and Nicholls State on Sunday afternoon.
