The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office has confirmed a woman's body was found face-down in the water at Keystone Lake late Wednesday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified the woman, Wednesday night, as Monica Hudspeth, 42, from Tulsa.

They said it appeared the incident happened some time after 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday and before 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday.

According the OHP, the Hudspeth was traveling south across the dam on Oklahoma State Highway 151 when she left the roadway to the right and struck a pole, then continued down the riprap, rolling once.

Authorities said the vehicle landed along the large rocks about 75 feet from the water's edge. The woman somehow got out of the vehicle and stumbled toward the lake, landing face-down in the water, OHP said.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers called in the incident to the proper authorities.

OHP said the investigation into the cause of the wreck is ongoing.
