ORU Volleyball Swept By Texas A&M-Corpus Christi

The Oral Roberts volleyball team lost its seventh consecutive match Saturday afternoon, as it was swept on the road by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (15-25, 22-25, 18-25).

The Golden Eagles hit a measly .009 for the match, a season low. ORU had just 23 kills on 112 attacks, with 22 attack errors.

Joana Gruber led the Golden Eagles with eight kills while Bruna Silva had a busy afternoon for the defense, digging 18 balls to lead the team.

Tyger Holt led the Islanders with 13 kills, while Ivy Baresh chipped in 10. Micah Nolan led the defense with 15 kills.

ORU will be in action Thursday at home against Southeastern Louisiana at 7 p.m.
