Some local charities got a challenge Tuesday that could benefit them, the more they benefit others.
Forty-four non-profits are in the running for $1 million worth of grants.
The George Kaiser Family Foundation is putting up the money, rewarding charities that can get commitments from donors, who agree to include the charities in their wills or charitable trusts.
"And that sets us apart, again, as America's most generous city," said Tulsa Community Foundation CEO Phil Lakin, Jr. "We have a lot of people out here that are going to be willing to give, because there is a match on the table."
For every $100,000 a non-profit raises, it will receive $20,000 to use immediately.
