Walgreens Announces Plans To Close More USA Drug Stores After Buyout

Walgreens has announced that they now plan to close 20 stores in Green Country.

Walgreens is trying to buy USA Drug, the pharmacy group behind May's, Med-X, and Drug Warehouse. Some of the USA Drug stores will close, in some cases, because of their proximity to a Walgreens store.

Monday, they announced that 13 Tulsa area stores were on the chopping block. Now, Walgreens has said seven more stores in Green Country are slated to close.

The stores should shut down by November.
