Fighting Hunger During Tulsa Area Restaurant Week Next Month

In conjunction with Hunger Action Month next month, 34 restaurants in northeastern Oklahoma will be offering three course prix fixe meals and donate 10 percent of the menu proceeds to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma's Food For Kids program.

Restaurant Week runs September 8th to 16th. All proceeds from the week will be matched by the George Kaiser Family Foundation up to $25,000.

Each prix fixe meal will feature an appetizer, entrée and dessert.

Along with News On 6, TulsaPeople magazine, George Kaiser Family Foundation and Jarboe and Waller and Company Public Relations are sponsoring the week.
