Depending upon which projected path you look at, Tropical Storm Isaac could have a large impact on the weather in Eastern Oklahoma next weekend.
National Hurricane Center forecasters are predicting that Isaac will become a Category 1 hurricane as it crosses the Gulf of Mexico instead of a Category 2.
Director Rick Knabb says Isaac won't be as strong as they initially thought when it hits land somewhere along the north Gulf Coast.
News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says the big question is will it bring much needed rainfall to Oklahoma?
Crone says two possible paths bring the system up east Texas and into eastern Oklahoma by Friday.
Crone says any track adjustments west of the current projections could mean an increase in storm chances for eastern Oklahoma.
