Dog lovers may want to check out the Claremore Expo Center Sunday for the third annual Dog Expo. The event celebrates all things dog with performances by Dock Dogs, an agility course, a cutest pet costume contest and more.

The Dog Expo is held to bring attention to shelter dogs and animal rescue groups. All proceeds go to the Claremore Animal Shelter.

There is a $6 admittance fee for adults and $3 for kids ages 6-12, but you can cut it in half by bringing a donated pet food product for the community pet pantry.

The fun begins at 9:30 a.m. with an agility course demo. Groups including the Tulsa Schutzhund Club and Canine Drill Team give demos throughout the day.

The event runs through 5 p.m. Sunday at 400 Veterans Parkway in Claremore.
