Tulsa Women's Soccer Falls To Fighting Irish

Notre Dame got two first-half goals from Elizabeth Tucker to take down the Hurricane.

The Tulsa women's soccer team fell to 1-1 on the young season after a 2-0 loss to national power Notre Dame on Friday night.

The three-time national champion Fighting Irish got both of their goals from junior Elizabeth Tucker. Tucker scored in the 12th and 18th minutes to lift the Irish to their first win of the season.

Tulsa keeper Hayley Harryman made seven saves, including shutting the Irish out in the second half.

The Hurricane defeated Oklahoma 2-0 in its exhibition game, and opened the season with a 3-0 win over Weber State. Next up for TU is Nicholls State at Hurricane Stadium on Sunday.
