Oklahoma's state superintendent has rolled out a new statewide grading system.
The A through F grades that will be given to schools and school district are similar to the letter grades given to students.
Janet Barresi said the report cards will be an easy way for parents to find out how their child's school is doing, without wading through complicated information.
At the same time, the state will launch a new initiative called "Raise the Grade Together," aimed at improving school performance.
The new report cards will be out in early October.
