Driver Injured In Car Crash On Highway 117 In Sapulpa

A woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after her car ran off a Creek County highway, went airborne then crashed and caught fire.

Sapulpa Police say the crash happened at about 11 p.m. on Highway 117 near Pole Cat Creek.

Police say the driver apparently lost control of her car, causing it to hit a curb and sending it off the road.

She was able to climb out before Sapulpa Fire arrived on scene.
