Barret Loux scattered six hits over seven innings as the Frisco RoughRiders won their second straight over the Tulsa Drillers Thursday night, 5-1.
The win was Loux's 14th of the season, and he has just one loss this season as well.
Drillers starter Joe Gardner took the loss for Tulsa.
Loux and reliever Carlos Pimentel handcuffed Tulsa batters all night, allowing just four Tulsa batters to get a hit. Three of Tulsa's hits came from Nolan Arenado.
The RoughRiders jumped on the board first in the bottom of the fourth inning on an RBI double by Tommy Mendonca.
The Drillers managed to tie the game in the top of the sixth, when three consecutive singles to load the bases. A sacrifice fly from Ben Paulsen scored Corey Dickerson, but Mike Zuanich and Lars Davis both struck out to end the threat.
The Drillers wouldn't get a hit the rest of the night.
Frisco scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth and seventh to give Pimentel a four-run lead he didn't relinquish.
The RoughRiders will be looking for the sweep when the two teams face off tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
