Young Tulsa Woman Dies After Battle With Cystic Fibrosis

Despite the health problems that plagued her over the years, Lo Detrich helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

At the age of 28, Lauren "Lo" Detrich lost her life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis on Saturday.

Despite the health problems that plagued her over the years, Lo helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

In 2002, when she was a senior at Bishop Kelley High School, Lo was awarded the Barron Prize for Young Heroes.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa.

In lieu of flowers, the Detrichs request donations in Lo's honor be made to the Sooner Chapter of The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at 2642 East 21st Street Suite 100, Tulsa, OK 74114 or Donate Life.
