Whether it's the heat, the drought or perhaps both, a local bird rehab group is being overwhelmed with young Mississippi Kites, jumping from their nests before they can fly.

Rehabbers are nursing them back to health, preparing to release them.

In the video above, Rick Wells has more on what's being called a "Kite-tastrophy".
