Motorcyclist Killed After Head-On Collision With Pickup

A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday evening after he crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck head-on.

The collision happened around 5:40 p.m. on State Highway 18 in Payne County.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Christopher Allen Dilley, 26, from Pawnee, was driving the motorcycle in the southbound lane.

OHP said Dilley steered his Yamaha motorcycle left of center and struck a Dodge pickup truck, driven by Richard James Blalock, 45, from Coalgate.

Dilley died at the scene due to massive injuries.

After the collision, Blalock brought the truck to a stop on the east side of the highway. Blalock and three other passengers were not injured.

Troopers said the investigation into the cause of the wreck was still pending.
