One of the cooling spots for Tulsa's homeless is having trouble keeping cool.
The air conditioner at the Day Center for the Homeless downtown can't keep up with the escalating heat.
Their main unit is having problems and they tell us it will cost some money just to have it evaluated, and then depending on what's wrong with it, the repairs could be very costly.
They have to rely on fans until it's fixed, and while it was about 80 degrees inside this afternoon, it is still cooler than being on the streets.
They are looking for donations to help cover the cost of air conditioner repairs. To make a donation, visit the Day Center's website.
