A Collinsville man is in Tulsa County Jail after police say he nearly bit off someone's finger in a fight. Raymond Edward Tidwell apparently lost part of his right ear in the same altercation, according to arrest reports.

Police were called to a home in the 11700 block of East 154th Street North at 1:30 a.m. Sunday on a domestic incident. They found two people – both with lacerations and teeth mark imprints – who said they were assaulted by the 53-year-old Tidwell.

One of the two had a "finger laceration which nearly severed (name redacted by police) finger with bite marks."

Officers found Tidwell several blocks away covered in blood. They say Tidwell admitted to being involved in the altercation.

Tidwell was treated at the scene and at a local hospital for the ear injury. He was then booked on two complaints of aggravated assault.
