Yem Prades hit a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the Northwest Arkansas Naturals a 3-2 win over the Tulsa Drillers, Thursday night.
The Naturals managed just five hits for the game, but scored all of their runs on two home runs.
The Naturals jumped out to a 2-0 lead on Brian Fletcher's two-run homer off Drillers starter Parker Frazier in the bottom of the first inning.
From that point until the seventh inning, Frazier and Naturals starter Ryan Dennick battled back and forth, giving up few hits and no runs.
The Drillers finally managed to break through in the seventh, with a solo shot from Kent Mathes to cut the lead in half. Tulsa struck again in the top of the eighth inning on an RBI single by Warren Schaeffer, before Prades heroics in the bottom half of the frame.
Juan Gutierrez worked the ninth for his second save this year. Josh Sullivan took the loss for the Drillers, while Ethan Hollingsworth got the win, his first of the year. Hollingsworth had been 0-7 this year before Thursday's win.
Tulsa returns home Friday for a four-game series against Arkansas before starting another three-game set against the Naturals on July 31.
