A man was reported missing by his mother Tuesday, after authorities say a repairman found his house open and empty several days ago.
Nathaniel James Lewis, 33, was living with his grandmother in the Grandview area, north of Tahlequah.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said the man has been missing since, at least, July 19. That was the day an air conditioner repairman came to Lewis's residence and found the front and back doors open with nobody home.
His cell phone was in the house, but Lewis and his truck were gone.
Lewis's grandmother was in poor health and went to stay with Lewis's mother in Georgia on July 16, so Lewis was staying in the house alone.
The Sheriff's Office said he has failed to show up for work at the Mazzio's in Tahlequah for several days.
Lewis is a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. The Sheriff's Office said he is about 6'2" and 200 lbs.
His vehicle is described as a brown, extra cab 2005 Ford F-150. There is no license information available at this time.
If you have any information about Lewis's disappearance or his current location, call the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office at 918-456-2583.
