The westbound lanes of the Will Rogers Turnpike between the Claremore and Verdigris exits were blocked for about an hour Wednesday morning due to a crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the rollover crash occurred just after 8 a.m. in Rogers County.

Troopers say an Oceanside, California woman driving a minivan fell asleep while westbound on the turnpike.  The van then struck the rear of a semi, causing the van to roll onto its side.

Kristina Genia, 30, and her three children in the van were transported to Tulsa with minor injuries.  They were all treated and released.  The father, 32-year-old James Genia was asleep in the van, was flown by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital and is listed in critical condition.

The semi truck driver, 54-year-old David Brawley of Blue Mound, Texas was not injured.
