Large Grass Fire Starts in Sapulpa Hay Field

Crews are keeping a watchful eye on a grass fire that started burning Tuesday afternoon.

Sky News 6 captured video earlier today just north of Sapulpa, near West 81st and South 193rd West Avenue.

Crews from Sapulpa and Sand Springs were called in to fight the fire.

It burned a hay field and moved into some brush.

There are some homes in the area, but they have not been affected.

It appeared the fire was sparked by some hay baling equipment.
