The OSU Center for Health Sciences dedicated a new sculpture today and we were there for the Oklahoma Moment.

The nearly 53-foot tall sculpture celebrates the wide scope of disciplines found at the learning facility.

Ralph Helmick, the artist who designed the sculpture said it represented, "Forensics, police work, health sciences, and then the legal system, which is kind of the intersection of the two."

Helmick said it took him three years from start to finish.

He incorporated images of DNA, the human brain, a police badge, a molecule, and a cutout of the Tulsa skyline into the design.
