The Drillers losing streak continues and the primary reason is still a lack of production from the offense.
Tulsa lost its fourth straight contest on Sunday, falling 4-1 to the Arkansas Travelers in Little Rock. The Drillers have scored five total runs in their past four games.
For the second game in a row, Tulsa scored first but it would be its only run of the game. And for the second-straight game, that only run came off of a solo-shot homer from left fielder Corey Dickerson.
Dickerson cleared the right field wall for his seventh homer of the year in the top of the first inning. Dickerson finished with two of Tulsa's five hits in the game. Third baseman Nolan Arenado also accounted for two hits.
Drillers' lefty Josh Outman was charged with the loss after giving up eight hits and four earned runs in 5.2 innings on the mound. He also hit two batters while striking out six.
Travelers' pitcher Matt Oye got the win after giving up five hits and striking out three with one earned run in seven innings.
The two teams finish their series on Monday at 7:05 p.m. in Little Rock.
