Tulsa's bicycling and running communities united to honor cyclists killed by a drunk driver in 2009.
The Christa Voss Duathlon was held Sunday morning in Tulsa. It combined a 5K run, 30K bike ride and 5K run.
Tulsans Christa Voss and Mathew Edmonds were struck and killed by a sport utility vehicle while riding on the shoulder of Highway 51 near Sand Springs. Driver Tasha Borland was convicted of two charges of first-degree manslaughter and driving under the influence.

The duathlon, which benefits the Voss and Edmonds Memorial Funds, started at RiverParks West and ran along the Arkansas River.
The event also raises awareness of the importance of sharing the road with all users and the dangers of drinking and driving, organizers say.
