Drew Brees' new $100-million contract is, well, awesome for him. He'll get $60 million of that guaranteed. $40 million of that will finds its way to his bank account NEXT SEASON.

ONE YEAR. 40-MILLION BUCKS.

In case you are wondering, this is how it breaks down:

If the Saints miss the playoffs (16 games): $2,500,000 per game

If the Saints play the maximum 20 regular season games: $2,000,000 per game

Assuming no overtimes, $625,000 per quarter.

If he duplicates last year's success (46 TDs; 5,476 yards, 468 completions):

$869,565.22 per touchdown
