An Oklahoma City dentist accused of submitting claims to Medicaid for services she didn't provide has pleaded guilty to health care fraud.

U.S. Attorney Sanford Coats says 44-year-old Robin Lockwood entered the plea Wednesday in U.S. District Court. A formal sentencing date will be scheduled in about 90 days.

Prosecutors alleged that Lockwood engaged in a scheme to defraud Medicaid from July 2007 to December 2010. Among other allegations, she's accused of recording in a patient's treatment notes that she had placed dental restorations on certain teeth when she hadn't treated the teeth at all.

Lockwood worked for Ocean Dental, which submitted claims for reimbursement to Medicaid and paid her a percentage of those reimbursements.

The telephone number for her attorney, John Coyle, rang unanswered Wednesday night.
