The City of Tulsa will roll out the first of its new recycling and trash carts, getting them ready for delivery starting Monday.
Truckloads of the first trash carts have arrived from a Texas manufacturer, and workers are assembling them so they can be loaded onto trucks.
All homes will also get a 96-gallon recycling cart.
And with more than 240,000 carts on order, NeWSolutions says it'll be ten weeks before they're all delivered.
"It's a really big operation," said Gary Percefull, of NeWSolutions. "You can see how big the stack of carts is out here, and this is maybe just over five percent of all the carts that will come through here in the next few weeks."
