The Drillers' three-game winning streak came to a halt on Saturday when Tulsa managed just three hits against the San Antonio pitching staff.
The San Antonio Missions handled the Drillers from start to finish, en route to a 7-0 victory at ONEOK Field behind dominant pitching and some lively hitting of their own.
The Missions got on the board in the second inning when Reymond Fuentes doubled on a fly ball to center field, driving in Edinson Rincon with one out. Later in the inning, Dean Anna singled to score Fuentes and build a 2-0 San Antonio lead.
San Antonio struck again in the third on right fielder Cody Decker's 16th home run of the season. More runs were piled on in the fourth when Nathan Freiman drove in two on a fly ball to center.
The Missions wrapped up their scoring in the seventh on a two-run homer by catcher Jason Hagerty.
Right hander Donn Roach earned his first victory of the season (1-0), pitching five innings and allowing just three hits. Tulsa's Dan Houston (7-7) was charged with the loss after giving up nine hits and five earned runs in four innings.
Tulsa left fielder Corey Dickerson recorded two of the team's three hits on the evening.
The Drillers begin a three-game home stand against Corpus Christi on Sunday at 7:05 p.m.
