Pottawatomie County authorities are still searching for a 3-year-old girl who was taken by her father from Shawnee Tuesday afternoon. Authorities first issued an Amber Alert for two missing children Tuesday evening.
She is considered an endangered child.
The alert was issued for Aaron Brodine, 10, and Chasity Almon, 3. Aaron Brodine has been recovered, but 3-year-old Chasity is still missing Wednesday morning.
Pottawatomie police say that 10-year-old Aaron was dropped off on the side of the road near McCloud in rural Pottawatomie County at about 6:30 Tuesday evening.
Authorities are searching for Robert Almon, 32. Chasity was last seen with him.
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office said they were attempting to serve Almon with a warrant around noon Tuesday, when Almon fled the scene. He was driving a silver 2007 Chevy 4-door truck with a small, white Atlanta "A" sticker on the back glass.
Authorities are looking for Almon's silver four-door 2007 Chevy Silverado pickup truck with a license plate number of 225-FHP.
Almon was last seen going northbound on Fishmarket Road from Waco Road in Pottawatomie County.
Chasity Almon was wearing a pink shirt and shorts.
Aaron Brodine is the child of a friend of Almon's, but was considered kidnapped and in danger until he was found.
Police are asking that people be on the lookout for Almon, though Chasity Almon is not considered kidnapped.
Court records show Almon is wanted for assault with a dangerous weapon.
If you have any information on Robert Almon's whereabouts, please call 911 or contact the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office.
