Police say a teenager shot at least twice at Tulsa apartment complex late Thursday evening is in grim condition.
The shooting took place at the McKinley Apartments in the 6700 block of East Latimer Place around 11:30 p.m.
Police were dispatched to the apartments on reports of shots being fired in the parking lot. They found the 17-year-old victim next door at an elementary school.
EMSA took him to the hospital and at last word he was in surgery for his wounds.
Tulsa Police found more than 40 shell casings at the scene.
They say the 40 casings came from several different caliber handguns. Officers haven't found anyone who saw the shooting.
They do know the teenager was shot in the apartment complex parking lot then stumbled over to the school's parking lot where he collapsed.
