A Grove man was arrested early Saturday morning in Tulsa after witnesses say he opened fire on a car with three people inside.

Tulsa police took Jesse Ryan Owens, 26, into custody in the 11900 block of East 27th Street on three counts of shooting with intent to kill.

Owens fired two rounds from a Taurus PT 738 .380 pistol into a car that was following behind his pickup truck, according to an arrest report. One round hit the front grill of the victims' vehicle, police say.

The three people in the car that was shot identified Owens as the shooter, and his two passengers also told police he shot at the victims, according to the arrest report.

Owens, who is a TCC student, is being held on a $225,000 bond.
