Tahlequah School Superintendent Hired By Arizona School District

Pending contract negotiations, superintendent of Tahlequah Public Schools has been hired as the next superintendent of an Arizona school district.

The Casa Grande Union high school district which is located between Phoenix and Tucson, approved the hiring of Shannon Goodsell on Saturday.

He has been superintendent at Tahlequah for 11 years.

Goodsell is expected to begin his job in Arizona on July 9, 2012.

Goodsell has a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and master's degree from Northeastern State University
