Man Working Tulsa Tent Sale Robbed, Pistol Whipped

A man guarding a Maytag tent sale in Tulsa was the victim of an armed robbery and assault.

A man working security for a Tulsa tent sale was pistol whipped and robbed early Saturday.

The victim was outside a Maytag Store Clearance Center at 10300 East 71st Street when he was approached by two men at about 1 a.m., according to Corporal Gene Watkins of the Tulsa Police Department.

The two robbers pistol whipped the security guard and stole his truck as well as some electronics.

Police are searching for two Hispanic males in their 20s who may be driving a 1997 white Nissan pickup. One of the men was wearing a green shirt and the second a fedora.

The suspects, who were last seen driving southbound on Highway 169, are considered armed and dangerous. If you can help Tulsa police with this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
