The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has determined alcohol played a part in a one-vehicle fatality crash in Bryan County early Sunday.

Troopers said Gary Dewayne Bledsoe, a 26-year-old from Caddo, was killed at 4:20 a.m. on Oklahoma 78 just north of Achille, when he struck a culvert and rolled ¾ times. His 2002 Chevrolet pickup came to rest on the passenger side, the OHP reported.

Bledsoe had an odor of alcoholic beverage, said the trooper, who categorized the crash as DUI.

Bledsoe was wearing a seatbelt and his airbags deployed.
