Tulsa Man Charged With Murder In Fatal Motel Shooting

An 18-year-old Tulsa man has been charged with first degree murder in the death of another man at a Tulsa motel on April 21, 2012.

Jonathan Velasco was arrested five days after the fatal shooting at the Tulsa Inn and Suites at 8201 East Skelly Drive. The murder charge was filed Tuesday morning.

He remains in Tulsa County jail with no bond.

His next court hearing is May 18, 2012.
